Dr. Anne-Marie B. Brillantes is an Instructor in Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Brillantes is Board Certified in Endocrinology and focuses her clinical and research efforts in the field of diabetes. Dr. Brillantes’ research is focused on the molecular biology of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, specifically in the molecular pathophysiology of pancreatic beta cells in the context of hyperglycemia in both rodents and humans. Dr. Brillantes is a graduate of Columbia College and has gone on to receive her M.D. degree at Mt. Sinai Medical School.
